She delightedly accepted his romantic proposal during a family getaway to Abu Dhabi at the start of the month.

And newly-engaged Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright looked absolutely smitten as they were seen for the first time on home turf in London on Wednesday.

The former TOWIE star, 27, couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she walked hand-in-hand with the former footballer as they left Scott's in Mayfair after celebrating his 40th birthday. 

Kate cut an undeniably stylish figure as she flashed a hint of her lean legs in a skintight black minidress.


The former reality star wrapped up against the cold weather in a mustard coloured coat and toted her belongings in a chic white shoulder bag.

Strutting along in a pair of knee-high black boots, Kate looked utterly loved-up as she chatted away with her other half.
