Sad! Kidnappers Of Ekiti NBA Scribe Demand N100m Ransom

Kidnappers of Secretary of the Nigeria Bar Association, Ikole -Ekiti branch, Mr Adeola Adebayo, have demanded N100m ransom before they can release him.

Members of his family said in Ado Ekiti, on Monday that Adebayo called from captivity that his abductors were demanding N100m which they wanted paid urgently.

The lawyer and his family were travelling back from Osogbo to Ekiti on Saturday when they were attacked by unknown gunmen numbering about 10 at Erio Ekiti in Ekiti State.

The kidnappers released the lawyer’s father, a lawyer and lecturer at Ekiti State University: his mother: sister and wife, leaving only him in the captors’ den.

A statement from the lawyer’s family on Monday stated: “The heavily armed gunmen numbering 10 told us to pay the sum of N100m for ransom before he can be released.”
