According to online sources, the late wife Anya Adaeze had an argument with her husband. one Olabode Oluwasanmi, as the argument went on, Olabode allegedly hit her with a iron rod. Anya fell and lost control was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, in Owo.
A quick examination on her showed that her uterus had been ruptured, and an emergency caesarean section was reportedly carried out on her to save her baby.
Unfortunately, the baby died and Anya was placed on oxygen but said gave up yesterday.
The reports further stated that, Anya who was a nurse and the bread winner of the family had been telling her colleagues at work how Olabode had been 'assaulting' her.
