Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly been a rock for sister Kim as her marriage problems with Kanye West have deepened in recent weeks.

The 41-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been taking on the protective big sister role as she helps Kim, 40, to work through her emotions during a difficult time.

The pair are thought to have been together at Palm Beach, where the families stayed at momager Kris Jenner's house there so they could soak up some winter sun.

Kourtney has reportedly told Kim that she has 'got her back' no matter what happens as the path towards divorce becomes a realistic direction.

Speaking to Hollywood Life, a source has said that Kourtney has made herself available to Kim "at all times of the day" as she works through her issues.

Kourtney has drawn on her own experience of how to deal with a very public split, after suffering that fate when her relationship with Scott Disick broke down.

She has reportedly advised Kim on how to raise children during a media storm as the prospect of Kim and Kanye divorcing edges nearer.

The source said about Kourtney: "She gets it. She’s checking in on [Kim] constantly and helping out with the kids.”

Kim has continued to stay at her Calabasas mansion with her children - North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two and Psalm, one - while Kanye has been spending his time at his Wyoming ranch.

The insider has said that Kourtney has "fulfilled the role" as being the main support for Kim, especially when the KarJenner sisters - Khloe, Kendall and Kylie - have been away from Los Angeles for the most part.

Kim is reportedly “doing her best to act like things are fine and that she’s really doing okay.”

Kim is also taking the advice of her support network to 'slow doen' and focus on her own feelings as she deals with the stress that a split like this brings.

The source said that Kim is not rushing into a divorce, despite reports that she has already instructing a lawyer to begin negotiations.
