Angry youths in Imo state have burned down a police station after two siblings were allegedly killed by a police officer.

According to reports, a young man named Chinanu Okonkwo and his sister Chinyere Okonkwo from Umuderim Community, Ihitte Uboma, were allegedly killed by a Nigerian police officer this morning, March 9.

Eyewitnesses claim the brother and sister were killed at Isiweke, the headquarters of Ihitte Uboma council area of Imo State.

This made the angry youths storm the police station closest to the location where the siblings were allegedly killed and set it on fire.

The angry youths also burnt patrol vehicles and freed all detainees at the police station as policemen on duty scampered for safety.

They then dumped the bodies of the victims at the police station, the reports say.
