Davido might be offline, but he is trending on all social media platforms.

The music star found himself on the trend table after his Manager, Asa Asika, revealed that he and CKay are the only artistes with Platinum records.

He made the information through his business/management account, ‘The Plug’ on Twitter. According to the Plug, Davido and CKay are the only solo acts with Platinum. Davido has a Platinum record for ‘FALL‘, CKay has 4 Platinum record for “Love Nwantiti” single.

Asa did not delete the post even after Wizkid FC reminded him that “Essence” has a Platinum. This disregard would be as a result of the fact that Essence is a collaboration between Wizkid and Tems and not just Wizkid’s single.
